1. How do I choose the right cottage for my group?
Each cottage listing includes details on capacity, bed types, pet-friendly options and accessibility. If you’re unsure, just ask - we’re happy to recommend the best cottage(s) for your group.

2. Can we book just one night, or do we need a longer stay?
We typically offer weekend, midweek or week-long stays. Short stays may be available at certain times - check the booking calendar or contact us.

3. What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation terms depend on how far in advance you cancel. Full details are provided when booking - please read them carefully before confirming.

4. Can we change our booking after confirming?
Changes may be possible depending on availability. Contact us as soon as possible; amendments may incur a fee.

5. Is a damage/security deposit required?
We may ask for a small deposit or pre-authorisation to cover accidental damage. This will be released after your stay if there are no issues.

6. What time is check-in and check-out?
Check in is 3pm and check out is 10am normally, however, early check-in or late checkout may be possible - just ask.

7. Do you provide towels and bedding?
Yes - fresh linen and towels are provided.

8. Is there WiFi?
Yes - WiFi is provided in all cottages (details are given on arrival).

9. Is smoking allowed?
No - all cottages are strictly non-smoking.

10. What if something goes wrong during our stay?
We provide an emergency contact number for any urgent help needed.

11. Is there parking?
Yes - there is ample on-site parking. Under the cottage listing it states the number of allocated spaces. We also have over-flow parking on site.

12. Do you have EV charging?
Yes - charging points are available on site.

13. Are there shared gardens or communal outside areas?
Yes - many cottages have private gardens, and there are shared outdoor spaces for everyone to enjoy.

14. Do cottages have fireplaces or cosy lounges?
Several properties feature fireplaces or traditional hearths - check your cottage description for details.

15. Can we arrange catering during our stay?
Yes - while cottages are self-catered, we can help arrange private catering by request.

16. Can we hire The Barn for celebrations, parties or events?
Yes - The Barn seats up to 46 and includes its own kitchen, bar, toilets and projector for events, meals, screenings or big-match sports.

17. Do we have to share the Barn with others?
No - it’s privately booked for your group only when hired.

18. Can we bring a dog?
Yes - three cottages are dog-friendly. Look for the pet icon on the cottage listing and let us know during booking.

19. Is the site child-friendly?
Yes - Sands Farm is great for families, with open areas to play, bunk-bed rooms in some cottages and plenty of space to explore.

20. Do you provide cots, highchairs or children’s essentials?
Yes - all cottages are equipped with a travel cot and high chair, although we do not provide bedding for the cots. We also provide games in each of the cottages and a separate games room on site (shared). We also have a library on site for those who enjoy reading. For anything else please get in touch before booking.

21. Are garden areas enclosed for children or pets?
Some private outdoor areas are enclosed. Contact us if this is essential - we can advise which cottage suits you best.

22. Do you have any wheelchair-accessible accommodation?
Yes - Fuchsia Cottage is designed specifically for wheelchair use, including accessible bathroom, kitchen adaptations and private outdoor space.

23. Are other cottages suitable for guests with limited mobility?
Yes - several cottages have ground-floor bedrooms or bathrooms. Get in touch and we’ll recommend the best fit.

24. Is The Barn accessible for events?
The Barn is accessible and is suitable for wheelchair users - please contact us if you require specific arrangements.

25. Are there shops, pubs or amenities nearby?
Yes - we’re surrounded by great local places to eat, drink and explore. Please see the ‘Eating & Drinking’ page on the website for more information. We also include plenty of recommendations in our welcome pack on arrival.

26. What’s the mobile signal like?
WiFi is available on site. Mobile reception varies by network - let us know your provider and we can advise.

27. How do we receive arrival directions and keys?
Once your booking is confirmed, we’ll email detailed directions and access instructions before your stay. All cottages are self-check in, so you are free to arrive and leave at your own convenience.
