The Chapel is a beautifully converted stone chapel, utterly unlike anywhere you've stayed before - a soulful hideaway full of character.

The Farmhouse offers generous space for larger groups to spread out, slow down and settle in, with character woven into every room.

Daisy, Rose, Jasmine, Poppy & Fuchsia Cottages each enjoy their own personality, private garden, and hot tub.

Fuchsia is fully accessible and has been meticulously planned with independence in mind.

Jasmine, Rose & Honey are dog friendly, and you have access to the dedicated dog exercise field located next to the courtyard cottages.

All cottages are available to book now with a 10% deposit, with the balance due 30 days before your stay.

Step outside Sands Farm and the North York Moors opens up around you. Whitby and its harbour is under an hour away. Pickering's railway runs through summer in full steam. Helmsley, Rievaulx Abbey, and the market towns of Ryedale are all within easy reach. As are some excellent local pubs, farm shops, and distilleries.

And if you don't feel like leaving the comfort of your cottage? That's fine too.

From late 2026, The Barn at Sands Farm will give larger groups an extraordinary shared space. A fully equipped kitchen, bar, and main room complete with a projector that can seat all 46 guests. Perfect for group celebrations, family feasts, or movie marathons.
